Il se trouve dans le Bois de Chigny, sur le territoire de [[Lagny-sur-Marne]]. Le bois, lui, se trouve à cheval sur deux communes.<br />

Il est très difficile de trouver des renseignements sur ce lieu, qui semble n'avoir intéressé personne dans le passé.<br />

A son origine, le bâtiment se trouve au milieu d'un parc boisé et un petit lac est présent sur le devant de ce dernier. Il est ensuite transformé en bureaux jusqu’en 1991, date où il est délaissé.<br />

Le château fait le bonheur des ''explorateurs'' de maisons abandonnées ([[wp:Exploration urbaine|Urbex]]).
